Summer
is coming. Even with all the rainy days, the growing heat can be felt.
Temperatures are rising, AC units are working harder, and people are growing
more anxious to be indoors and stay cool. This is just one of the many reasons
to have a portable spot cooler. Spot coolers
are temporary units that cool surrounding areas quickly and effectively.
Whether you need a little extra boost air conditioning, or your primary air
conditioner has failed, a spot cooler comes in handy for a variety of locations
and reasons.
Business
As
temperatures rise, some industries and businesses require additional AC to keep
people and the environment safe. Warehouses are notorious for being
oppressively hot. Is some cases, this is normal. However, this can become a
risk for employees. As workers grow hotter and more uncomfortable, it becomes
harder to function well; work may slow, workers may make mistakes, and it
becomes a health risk.

same can be said for industrial facilities and construction areas. Heat and

Schools
also have their own central air conditioning units. Yet, summer months bring

coolers are great for keeping students sufficiently cool in classrooms, whether
by supplementing the main AC system, or replacing it during a system failure.
Additionally, some temporary classrooms and buildings are not adequately

for medical care, whether a hospital or temporary emergency center, also must
keep patients and employees safe and comfortable in stressful conditions. Heat
aids the growth of bacteria and makes for a breeding ground for illness.
Hospitals have AC systems, but if those systems fail or the need extra cooling,
spot coolers are very useful. Additionally, these machines are excellent for
temporary emergency medical locations, such as those in hot, humid areas.
